Oat Field Crop Variety Trials

Oat varieties were sown in trial plots at Becker, Crookston, Lamberton, Roseau, St. Paul, and Waseca and on-farm sites near Fergus Falls, Le Center, and Rochester, and Stephen. Plots at St. Paul were lost due to extreme drought conditions. Yield data in bushels per acre is averaged for the state, northern, and southern locations in Table 1 and for individual Northern (Table 2) and Southern (Table 3 ) locations. Varieties are listed in alphabetical order.
