Phacelia
Phacelia is an annual cool-season broad leaf plant that does not make Nitrogen, but stores it for a proceeding crop. Phacelia is fast growing-quickly providing a dense cover that easily allows water infiltration, making it a very good weed suppressant.
Phacelia has a prostrate growth habit and can get up to 3 feet tall and is a very popular purple flowered bee attractant and needs 13 hours of daylight to begin flowering.

Plant at 1/8-1/4″ depth
Management
Phacelia will germinate at temperatures between 35-40 degrees and will winter kill at 18-20 degrees.
