Mix #4 Lowland Mix

Mix #4 is a lowland specified mix that will produce better in wetter conditions than traditional alfalfa varieties.
The alfalfa in this mix, WSL550 BR Alfalfa (coated w/Apex Green—OMRI Listed) has a branched root system and does well in soils that have a high water table or areas that are inclined to be wet. WSL550 also has high resistance to Aphanomyces Race I and II.
WSL550 also preforms well in drained soils making it an excellent all around alfalfa for hay.
Mix #4 consists of:
42% WSL550 BR Alfalfa (w/Apex Green)
37% Persist Brand Red Clover
16% Tuukka Timothy
5% Alsike Clover

All of our hay, pasture and waterway mixes are premixed, saving our customers valuable time during the busy planting season.
Inoculation is recommended when planting legumes.
Mix #4 contains alfalfa and clovers that have been coated and pre-inoculated with an OMRI Listed inoculation and coating for improved establishment and growth.
