New Marco Polo White Clover (w/Nitro-Coat Organic®)
Marco Polo White Clover (w/Nitro-Coat Organic®) is a very large-leafed variety known for its size and height, it’s quick establishment, it’s nutritional benefit and it’s ability to be more winter active than other white clovers.
Marco Polo is as tall as typical Ladino clovers, but has larger leaves, making it a high forage producer and offering higher palatability to new or existing pastures.
Marco Polo was bred to be more winter active than other white clovers and in warmer climates, may remain active throughout entire winter season, but in regions where there are extended days of sub-freezing temps with no snow cover, stands may experience some cold damage or winter kill.
Marco Polo Benefits:
*Boosts pasture productivity: Marco Polo’s Nitrogen value, productivity and large leaves make it a great legume to add to pastures for livestock and it can lessen the effects of endophyte toxicity when added into existing pastures where endophyte grasses are present.
*Nitrogen and Protein booster: Marco Polo provides both Nitrogen and Protein, making it a beneficial component in cool and warm season grass blends.
*Wildlife/Pollinators: Makes an excellent wildlife attractant and food source in addition to being a great pollinator.
*Erosion Control: Marco Polo has a vigorous root system, quickly establishing with long roots to hold soil and reducing erosion.
*Perennial Cover Crop: Marco Polo is an excellent addition in row crops, orchards, and other areas to fix Nitrogen, reduces weeds and builds soil health.
