Fleet Meadow Bromegrass

Fleet Meadow Bromegrass is a high producing, winter-hardy bromegrass with excellent regrowth after cutting.
Fleet is leafier than smooth bromegrass because it has more basal leaves, making it more palatable and higher yielding.
Fleet is an excellent variety for grazing or haymaking and is less aggressive than smooth brome, therefore fleet maintains a better balance in alfalfa-grass mixes.

*Fleet is not recommended for waterways as it does not have the root system that smooth bromegrass has.

Establishment

Plant seed about 1/4″ in spring and early fall. Plant in a well prepared seed bed.
Bromegrass can be broadcast into tilled soil or planted.
*Do NOT plant brome over 1/4″ depth-it but does not so well when planted too deep!
