Bull Birdsfoot Trefoil

Bull Birdsfoot Trefoil is a semi-erect, non-bloating perennial legume that grows 2-3′ tall. Bull is a leafy and multibranched variety with the growth coming from the crown. Bull has rapid early seedling growth, early growth habit, and good regrowth after cutting.

Bull has very good winter hardiness, stand persistence, and drought stress and is adaptive to Canada and the US Midwest.
Bull has an a very good ability to compete and rapidly establish with alfalfa and is selected for yield and persistence. Bull makes an excellent component when blended with pasture grasses or alfalfa.
