Bruiser Annual Ryegrass

Bruiser Annual Ryegrass is an exciting release selected through a six cycle breeding program bred specifically for disease resistance and cold tolerance. As a result, Bruiser has an excellent cold tolerance rating and above average disease resistancies. Bruiser is resistant to crown rust, has some gray leaf spot resistance and helminthosporium leaf spot resistance.
Bruiser is a late maturing, diploid with excellent palatability and high feed values, resulting in high quality forage for livestock and increased profitability to producers.

Bruiser is characterized by its quick germination, easy establishment, disease resistances and its excellent cold tolerance.

Establishment

Plant at 1/4″ depth. Bruiser can be spring or early fall seeded, frost-seeded, broadcast or drilled.

Management

Annual ryegrasses like moist, fertile soils and will respond to liberal applications of nitrogen.
