BG-34 Perennial Ryegrass

BG-34 perennial ryegrass is a very popular diploid blend of late maturing, winter-hardy Barenbrug perennial ryegrass varieties.
BG-34 is noted for its palatability, persistance, disease resistance and high digestibility.

BG-34 does well under high fertility and moisture, producing very high yields of very high energy forage.
BG-34 is capable of good summer production in hot, arid areas if grown under irrigation and high fertility.

Establishment

Plant at 1/4″ depth. BG-34 can be spring or early fall seeded, frost-seeded, broadcast or drilled.

Management

Perennial Ryegrass like moist, fertile soils and will respond to liberal applications of Nitrogen.

Cut and/or graze down to 3″ to allow regrowth to succeed and be aggressive.
