BG-24T Perennial Ryegrass
BG-24T ia a blend of early and intermediate maturing diploid and tetraploid varieties.
BG-24T is a very persistant ryegrass that will produce a very dense stand with superior palatability and productivity for all classes of grazing animals.
BG-24T has performed better under high summer temperatures than other varieties and has a superior disease package.
Establishment
Plant at 1/4″ depth. BG-24T can be spring or early fall seeded, frost-seeded, broadcast or drilled.
Management
Cut and/or graze down to 3″ to allow regrowth to succeed and be aggressive.
Perennial Ryegrass like moist, fertile soils and will respond to liberal applications of Nitrogen.
